Bethlehem, PA – Following a weekend in which the Lehigh men’s swimming and diving team picked up its first victory of the season, senior Patrick Ryan was honored Tuesday as the Patriot League male diver of the week.
Ryan helped guide the Mountain Hawk men to a 153-91 victory over West Chester Saturday at Jacobs Pool. The senior captain took first place in both men’s diving events on Saturday posting a score of 225.75 in the 1-meter competition and accumulating 243.83 points in the 3-meter competition.
The Lehigh men currently stand at 1-0 after Saturday’s win. At the same meet the Lehigh women fell to West Chester 165-78. The Mountain Hawks return to the pool on this weekend when they host Colgate and Navy. Diving competition gets underway at 6:30 on Friday, while swimming will begin at 1:00 on Saturday.
