Lehigh set to host West Chester in home opener

- The Mountain Hawks swimming and diving teams will open their home schedule Saturday afternoon as they welcome the Golden Rams of West Chester to Jacobs Pool.

This is the first scored meet of the season for Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks took part in the Drexel Relays last weekend in Philadelphia winning five of 24 contested events. The Lehigh men picked up four wins, while the women won one. Sophomore Chris Caywood was a member of three relay-winning teams for the Mountain Hawks.

West Chester comes to South Bethlehem after sweeping the PSAC Fall Sprint last weekend, defeating Slippery Rock, Kutztown and Indiana (Pa.) in the process. Last year the Mountain Hawks were swept by the Golden Rams, with the men falling 154-134 and the women losing 164.5-121.5

Saturday’s meet gets underway at noon.
