Lehigh men capture league swimming title

Annapolis, MD – Lehigh’s men’s swimming and diving team held off league newcomer American as the Mountain Hawks earned 694 points to capture the top spot and claim the Patriot League title at the league’s swimming and diving championships. Lehigh held a slim 22 point edge over the Eagles entering the final day of competition, but the Mountain Hawks had a strong showing on Saturday to finish 51 points ahead of American. Lehigh’s women’s team entered the final day in fourth place, and was unable to move any higher. The Mountain Hawks finished the weekend with 506 points. The Midshipmen of Navy finished first on the women’s side, with 663 points.
