Lehigh sweeps Marist in final home meet

Bethlehem, PA- Lehigh's swimming and diving team defeated Marist Saturday afternoon in its final home meet of the season. Lehigh's men's squad recorded a 125.5-117.5 win over the Red Foxes, improving their record to 7-2 overall, while remaining undefeated in the Patriot League at 4-0. Lehigh's women captured the 151-86 victory over the Red Foxes and moved to 4-5 overall. Currently they stand at 2-2 in the Patriot League. The women tabbed 151 points behind impressive finishes from Tara Ho, Kathryn Miller and Lauren Ayres. In her final meet at Lehigh, senior Tara Ho touched the wall first in both the 200 free and 500 free. Senior Lauren Ayres recorded a first place finish in the 200 fly with an impressive time of 2:07.87 to end her home stint at Lehigh. Freshman Kathryn Miller tabbed a second place finishes in the 200 free, 200 back and was a member of the second place team in the 400 freestyle relay. The men's team tallied 125.5 points behind great finishes from Bing Padmasankha. Padmasankha owned the 50 free and 100 free style events. The junior also was a member of the first place 400 medley relay team. The Mountain Hawks will return to action February 14th as they travel to the Patriot League Championships at Navy.
