Rain delays start of NCAA Amherst Regional

AMHERST, Mass. – Heavy rains in the area Friday morning have forced at three-hour delay to the start of NCAA regional play at the UMass Softball Complex. The host Minutewomen and Albany will now open regional play at 3:00 pm, with Lehigh’s game against Texas A&M now scheduled for approximately 5:30 pm. Friday’s Lehigh-Texas A&M game will still be broadcast on 91.3 FM WLVR as well as online at Lehighsports.com with streaming powered by Yahoo! Sports. Coverage will begin 15 minutes prior to first pitch.
