Lehigh's NCAA games to air live on WLVR-FM

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics and WLVR-FM have once again teamed up to provide live coverage of all Lehigh softball games in the 2006 NCAA tournament from the Amherst (Mass.) Regional site. Every pitch of the Mountain Hawks’ 2006 post-season can be heard live on 91.3 FM, Lehigh University’s student station.

The duo of Steve Lomangino and Jeff Tourial will call the action from the UMass Softball Complex on the University of Massachusetts campus, with coverage beginning 15 minutes prior to the first pitch each afternoon.

As always, fans outside of the Lehigh Valley can catch the play-by-play live on-line at Lehighsports.com, with streaming provided by Yahoo! Sports.

Lehigh captured its third straight Patriot League tournament title on Saturday, and the Mountain Hawks are making their fourth NCAA appearance since 2001. Lehigh opens 2006 regional play on Friday, May 19, when the Mountain Hawks take on the 13-seed, Texas A&M, at 2:30 pm EDT. Coverage on WLVR-FM and on-line will get underway at 2:15 pm, with player and coach interviews.
