Lafayette series shifted to Sunday and Monday

Due to the threat of heavy rains in the Lehigh Valley, the Mountain Hawks scheduled Saturday doubleheader against archrival Lafayette has been postponed. The teams will still play a four game series with doubleheaders now scheduled for Sunday and Monday afternoon.

Lehigh looks to rebound from Wednesday night’s loss to Syracuse, which snapped the Mountain Hawks school and Patriot League record 13 game winning streak. Sunday’s first game will mark the 2005 home opener for the Mountain Hawks, who have played their first 22 games on the road or at neutral sites. First pitch for Sunday’s doubleheader will be 2:00, two hours later than originally scheduled. Monday, the teams will play another twinbill, which gets underway at 2:30 from Kaufman Field.
