Ling and Treon named all-region

Despite being conspicuously absent from the 2004 All-Patriot League team, Emily Ling had quite a season in 2004. The league’s Pitcher of the Year in 2003, Ling continued her winning ways as a junior, pacing the team and finishing second in the league with 15 victories. Along the way, Ling led the league in strikeouts (162), while finishing fourth in both earned run average (1.58) and innings pitched (137).
Treon wrapped up her career as a four-year starter in the leadoff spot for the Mountain Hawks. She was tops on the team in hits, triples, home runs, stolen bases, and runs scored. Her seven triples and 62 hits are also tops in the Patriot League. Treon was once again an All-Patriot League selection in 2004, marking her third appearance on the team in four seasons. Thanks in large part to her stellar play, Lehigh has captured the Patriot League's regular season title in each of Treon's four seasons.
