Treon named to Academic All-District team

In the classroom, Treon boasts a 3.39 grade point average (GPA) as an Art major with a concentration in Graphic Design. She has been selected to the Patriot League’s Academic Honor Roll twice for her hard work in the classroom, and has also captured Dean’s List recognition at Lehigh on multiple occasions.
On the field, Treon has done it all for the Mountain Hawks. She currently leads the team in hits, triples, home runs, stolen bases, and runs scored. Her seven triples and 61 hits are also tops in the Patriot League. During the course of the season, she collected her 200th career hit, and she has yet to commit an error in 2004.
Treon was once again an All-Patriot League selection in 2004, marking her third appearance on the team in four seasons. Thanks in large part to her stellar play, Lehigh has captured the Patriot League's regular season title in each of Treon's four seasons, in addition to two league tournament crowns. Last week, Treon earned one of Lehigh’s top departmental honors, when she earned the Lehigh Athletics Graduating Female Athlete award, given to the athlete deemed to have compiled the most distinctive and/or extraordinary athletic record during her Lehigh career.
To be eligible for the CoSIDA honors, individuals must be at least a sophomore, as well as a starter or key reserve on her team with a minimum grade point average of 3.20. CoSIDA’s District II consists of schools in
The Mountain Hawks recently set a Patriot League record with their 40th victory of the season, en route to capturing their sixth Patriot League tournament title. Lehigh (40-15-2) will represent the league in the upcoming NCAA tournament, beginning on May 20.
