Ling honored for third time by Patriot League

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh starting pitcher Emily Ling was honored by the Patriot League for the third time this season as the league’s Pitcher of the Week. Ling stands at 14-2 on the season and last week helped the Mountain Hawks go 7-1, including a four game sweep of league foe Bucknell. During Lehigh’s 7-1 run, Ling went 3-0, including a no-hitter and a one-hitter vs. Bucknell. Ling also allowed just six hits, while striking out 21 batters. Opponents hit a lowly .094 in 64 at bats vs. the right-hander. Ling and her Lehigh teammates return to action on Wednesday in non-league action vs. Rider. Game time is 3:00 p.m. at Kaufman Field.
