The Leopards got off to the fast start in game one, taking a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth and then, after Lehigh scored two in the bottom of the first to tie, scored a run in third and one in the fourth to lead 4-2 heading into the bottom of the fourth. The game would stay scoreless until the bottom of the sixth when Taryn Hanley singled on a perfectly placed squeeze bunt, scoring Whitney Schenbeck with the go ahead run. The Mountain Hawks would add an insurance run and then Emily Ling shut the door in the seventh. Ling pitched two innings of scoreless relief to notch her 11th win of the season. Marvel was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and one driven in. Six different players drove in one run apiece for the Brown and White.
