Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because the coaches were really great and made me feel very comfortable. The University had the major I was interested in and a great reputation for both academics and softball.”
On the NCAA Tournament experience: “The NCAA Tournament was a great experience. It was exciting to be a part of it and to be at the level to compete with other teams.”
As a junior … appeared in 18 contests, earning six starts … was 1-for-4 with her first career stolen base and a run scored in a win over Liberty … played error-free softball while recording 24 putouts … As a sophomore … hit .269 with 14 hits, including a double and a home run … scored seven runs and drove in five … perfect in the field, with a fielding percentage of 1.000 … as a freshman … third on the team in hitting with a .343 batting average … posted a .974 fielding percentage … In high school … Academic All-State selection … All-Conference … summer team placed third in ASA Regional … earned a diploma in the International Baccalaureate Program … favorite professional softball player is Dot Richardson … played golf in high school … Personal: Daughter of Dan and Jan, brother Eric (21) played football at Rice.
