BETHLEHEM, "I really liked the way we passed the ball tonight," said a pleased Head Coach Billy Taylor following the win. "We had 20 assists to only 15 turnovers, and many of those turnovers came towards the end of the game. It was nice to bounce back following Sunday's loss (at Villanova), but we have our work cut out for us coming up this weekend (at Cornell)." Lehigh overcame a slow start to build a 35-23 advantage at halftime, thanks in large part to 12 first half points from The Mountain Hawks were sluggish at the onset of the second half, and saw their lead dwindle to two points, as Eastern used some nice ball movement and accurate three-point shooting to hang around for a good part of the second stanza. But Lehigh was able to use its depth and size to wear down the pesky Eagles, eventually pulling away for the victory. All 12 Lehigh players in uniform got into the lineup in the victory. As a team, the Mountain Hawks shot 46% from the floor, while containing Eastern to a 32% clip on the night. Lehigh recorded five blocked shots for the game, led by Mike Fischman's two. Lehigh did struggle from the foul line, hitting on only 13 of 21 free throws, but it didn't matter as the Brown and White won its third game of the season. Bobby Black was the lone Eagle in double figures, scoring 11 points. Lehigh returns to the court on Sunday, when the Mountain Hawks visit Cornell. Game time is set for 1:00 pm from
