Lehigh wins Pennsylvania State Dual Championships

The Nittany Lions struck first as Adam Smith won an 8-3 decision over John Stout. Lehigh would get on the scoreboard at 133 as Jeff Santo earned a hard-fought 5-0 decision over Tim Haas. Cory Cooperman gave the Mountain Hawks the lead with an 8-3 decision over Dewitt Driscoll. It was the first time in four matches this season that Cooperman did not pin his opponent.
Troy Letters made his season debut for the Mountain Hawks and was impressive. The defending national champion recorded eight takedowns before pinning Steve Troup in the third period.
