2015 (SENIOR SEASON)
Strong senior season in which she was named second team All-Patriot League…finished second on the team with 325 kills and a 2.93 kills per set average…tallied double-digit kills on 14 occasions, including a season-best 18 kills in a five-set win at Bucknell…also tallied 63 total blocks…contributed 10 kills in Lehigh’s Patriot League Semifinal match against Army (11/21) to earn a spot on the Patriot League All-Tournament Team.
2014 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Breakout junior campaign, earning first team All-Patriot League laurels…finished second on the team with 265 kills and a strong .277 attack percentage that ranked sixth in the Patriot Leauge…also contributed 74 digs, 41 total blocks and ten service aces…recorded an impressive .337 hitting percentage and 3.21 kills per set in Patriot League play to help Lehigh to a second-place finish and 14-2 league mark…recorded double-digit kills in 12 matches, eight of which came in league play…smacked a career-best 16 kills against George Mason (9/5) and William and Mary (9/6)…given the team’s Coaches Award at the end of the season.
2013 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Played in 16 matches and 25 sets…finished the season with 40 kills and ten total blocks…recorded a season-high seven kills in the season-opening match against UNH…tallied three kills without making an error against Saint Peter’s to record a hitting percentage of .750…stuffed a season-best three total blocks against American…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2012 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Played in three matches and seven sets on the season…Had seven kills, a dig and three blocks in her collegiate debut against American…Posted two kills against Navy…Had a kill, three digs and a block against Holy Cross...Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH
A three-year starter and team captain of her South Fayette High School team, Slater was a 2011 first team WPIAL Class AA All-Section honoree and named to the 2011 All-WPIAL Class AA second team. During her senior year, Slater was named to two All-Tournament teams and was featured in the 2011 Top 15 South Players to Watch article by Sportstown.com. She led her Pittsburgh Three Rivers Volleyball Club to the June 2011 National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia and the June 2010 National Championships in Reno, Nevada. Slater was named to two All-Tournament teams in 2010 and also earned a selection to the 2010 All-WPIAL Class AA third team and the 2010 WPIAL Class AA All-Section first team. Slater has also been recognized for her behavior off-the-court, receiving the Pittsburgh Tribune Review Award as the 2012 Outstanding Young Citizen. Slater was the 2011 Homecoming Queen, a member of the National Honor Society and a Principal’s Scholar throughout her four years at South Fayette High School.
