2017 OUTDOORS: Set a season-best in the triple jump at the Patriot League Championships with a leap of 14.09m…Won the triple jump (13.49m) at the Muhlenberg Invitational…Won the triple jump at the Lehigh Games (14.05m) and placed fifth with a season-best in the long jump (6.76m) en route to being named the Patriot League’s Rookie of the Week.
2017 INDOORS: Finished third in the long jump at the Lehigh-Lafayette dual meet with a leap of 6.65m…Competed in the long jump and triple jump at the Patriot League Championships…Placed fifth in the long jump (6.40m) at the Lehigh Fast Times Before Finals.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Attended the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pa….As a senior, finished fourth in the triple jump at the district championships, after finishing third in the triple jump and fifth in the long jump at the conference championships…As a junior, qualified for districts in the long jump after a fourth place finish in the conference championships…Also earned all-conference honors in soccer and helped the Milton Hershey basketball team to a conference title and a third place finish in the district playoffs as a senior…Honor roll student and Hershey Lions Club Award recipient.
PERSONAL: Son of Babatunde Owolabi…Has four siblings, Funmi, Yemi, Olatunde and Ibukun.

Why did you choose Lehigh?: It seems more like a community than a college and I like that.
What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh?: I love that's it's not too small and not too big. I also love the connections that are able to be made with the school’s alumni.
Thoughts on Lehigh Coaching Staff: They seem super great and motivated and like they wouldn't mind stepping out of their way to help any one of us. Coach Matt seems like a family man, which means we're more than athletes to him.
Major & Why: Mechanical Engineering because I want to change the world.
