GETTING TO KNOW VICTOR
Nickname: None so far. Very sure my cross country folks will get me one quite soon
Why did you choose Lehigh: I’m a countryside styled guy. Lehigh being in the country side seemed such a nice place to be. Plus, the people I talked to when inquiring about Lehigh made it seem really cool.
What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh: The countryside part of it.
Thoughts on Lehigh Coaching Staff (Coach Etters): I think Coach Todd is a really nice coach. From what I’ve known by talking with him and from teammates, he’s a coach who sees athletes as his children.
Major and Why: History. Myth has it that my tribe could be of Egyptian descent. I’ve always wanted to find this out.
Favorite Food: Chapati and beef stew.
Favorite Color: Spring Green
Favorite Musical Artist: Adam Young; Owl City
Favorite Movie: Ant Man. (I’m not a science nerd but I so much love science fiction)
Favorite TV Show: Jeff Koinange Live.
Favorite Website: Runner’s World
Favorite Sports Broadcaster: Kaka Sema (Kenyan Sports Broadcaster)
Favorite Pro Team: Nike Bowerman Club
Favorite Athlete In Another Sport: Manny Pacquiao
Favorite thing to do on a rainy day: Go out for a run
Hobbies: Reading novels, running and swimming.
Magazine Cover I’d Like To Be On: Adidas Annual Edition
Place I’d Like To Visit: The Great Chinese Wall
Talent I’d Most Like To Have: Swimming
Dream Job: Coach a bunch of Olympiads.
One unique thing no one knows about me: I’m my own biggest critic and I’m pretty intense with myself.
Most admired person and why: My sister Winny. I like the way she’s always beaten all odds to make it in life.
If I Didn’t Run Cross Country, I Would Play: Soccer, though I couldn’t even make the high school team.
If I Had $1 Billion, I Would: Make sure my family lacked nothing.
