2024 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all seven races in his first-year season… Finished 12th of 92 at the 6K Lehigh Invite, winning Patriot League Rookie of the Week (18:54.2)… Finished 158th of 197 at the 5.2 mile Harry Groves Spiked Shoe (27:35.9)… Finished 15th of 26 in Lehigh’s 25th consecutive 8K dual meet victory over Lafayette (26:31.7)… Finished 332nd of 374 at the 8K 50th Paul Short Run Gold Race (26:48.3)… Finished 123rd of 261 at the 8K IC4A Championships (26:22.4)… Finished 66th of 111 at the 8K Patriot League Championships (25:37.6)… Finished 158th of 192 at the 10K NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (33:25.9)…
BEFORE LEHIGH
A competitor in the 3K, 5K, 10K, 8K cross country and 10K cross country events, Connell brings his talents to Lehigh from Bernards High School. He earned Second Team All-State, First Team All-Conference, a Skyland Conference Championship and a North Two Group Two Sectional Championship during his high school career. In the classroom, Connell was a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar with distinction and an AP Scholar with honor.
