In 2014-15: Started for Lehigh in seven duals, posting 2-5 record… filled in for five duals at 157 earning a win by forfeit over Northwestern and a decision over May Bethea of Penn… started both duals at Grapple at the Garden at 149 after Mitch Minotti returned to lineup.
In 2013-14: Posted 9-7 overall record… competed at 141 but bumped up for first two varsity dual meet appearances… finished second in early season Bearcat Open… took fourth at East Stroudsburg Open the following week… missed nearly two months due to injury suffered at Midlands Championships… made varsity dual debut in narrow loss up two weights at Penn… competed at 149 at Brown in final weekend of dual meet season.
In 2012-13: Deferred eligibility… posted 17-8 record competing unattached in open tournaments… placed second at the Wilkes Open in late December and fifth at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic in January… posted impressive win over Penn State starter Bryan Pearsall in Nittany Lion Open.
In secondary school: Amassed a 159-21 career record … captured a state title as a junior … placed fourth and seventh in the 2011 and 2010 National Prep Championships … capture a title at the NHSCA Sophomore Nationals in 2010 … could not finish senior season due to injury.
Personal: Son of Matthew and Nisha Switzer… brother Quinton (16).
