Why Lehigh?: “I chose to come to Lehigh for two reasons. One is because I like coach Shook and the other kids on the team. The other reason is for the opportunities in the future. I feel I've worked very hard my high school career and deserve to come to a school which will allow me opportunity.”
Player Profile: As a junior … notched a 12-6 record at second singles … won four of six Patriot League singles matches … played and won one match at third singles … went 2-3 at second doubles … posted an 8-3 record at third doubles … three Patriot League wins at third doubles … As a sophomore …posted a record of 9-8 playing third flight singles … won four of six Patriot League singles matches …played four matches at second flight doubles … as a freshman … played 11 matches at third flight singles, posting a record of 7-4 … recorded a 3-2 record at fourth flight singles … went 1-2 at first flight doubles and 5-6 at third flight doubles … in secondary school … ranked in the top-30 players in Florida … won individual state doubles for school tennis with partner Melvin Machni … won an international tournament in the Dominican Republic when he was 10 years old

Personal: Son of Debrah and Perry Lloyd … has an older brother, Rhett, and a younger brother, Cameron … full name is Peter Ryan Lloyd … his mom has played tennis for many years and got him involved in tennis when he was 7 years of age … grew up in Florida for most of his life … loves to surf, play basketball, and all outdoor activities.
