In 2010-11: Named EIWA Freshman of the Year… held down starting spot at 141 from opening day of season and never looked back… reached the Round of 12 at the NCAA Championships falling one win short of All-America honors… won 23 bouts including 10 bonus wins… earned No. 1 seed at the EIWA Championships before placing fourth… finished eighth at the Midlands Championships in late December… posted notable wins over Penn’s Zack Kemmerer and Pittsburgh All-American Tyler Nauman.
In secondary school: Two-time state champion… surpassed Jesse Jantzen’s all-time win mark for Long Island wrestlers… went 227-12 in his six year career…placed second and third as a freshman and sophomore before winning his last 95 bouts to win state titles in his final two years…Super 32 and NHSCA Junior Nationals runner-up.
Personal: Son of Steve and Laura… brothers Matthew (17) and Thomas (14)… enjoys fishing, hunting and going to the beach.
