Coach Troyan on Pearce: "Sara is an extremely versatile post player who possesses the ability to run the floor in transition, play with her back to the basket and play facing the basket while being able to step out and shoot the three. She’s a very strong rebounder with a good sense for the ball and very good athleticism."

2011-12 (Junior)
Strong season, playing in 28 games (11 starts) while averaging 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds … Shot 43.6 percent from the field (41-of-94) and 73.1 percent from the free throw line (19-of-26) … Scored five points in 17 minutes at Navy (1/25) … Posted 11 points via 4-of-6 shooting against Rhode Island (12/29) … Tied a career-high 13 points vs. Villanova (11/30).
