Mountain Hawks Sweep Mount St. Mary's 4-0

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's tennis returned to the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center on Sunday morning to host Mount St. Mary's. The Mountain Hawks took care of business, winning by a score of 4-0.
Mount St. Mary's (2-7) struck first in doubles with a 6-3 win from Alexi Roy and Ryan Wagner at number two. Kosei Ogata and Rafael Gracie then earned a 6-4 win at number three before Sean Jaeger and Alex Van Lumich won 7-5 at number one to claim the opening doubles point.
Lehigh claimed the first win of singles play as well courtesy of a two-set win from Van Lumich at number two. Ogata followed suit with a two-set win of his own to bring the Mountain Hawks within one win of the clinch. Jaeger gritted out a tough three-set victory at number one singles to secure the dual meet victory for the Mountain Hawks. Singles bouts at numbers four, five, and six were left unfinished.
The Mountain Hawks travel south to face Kennesaw State on Tuesday, March 10 at 10 a.m. as part of the team's spring break trip to North Carolina.
