Lehigh Hosts Holy Cross On Wednesday For Camper Reunion Night

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's basketball returns to Stabler Arena on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. to welcome the Holy Cross Crusaders on Camper Reunion Night. Campers from Lehigh's summer camps will return for a night of hoops, autographs, and more.
Lehigh (4-11, 0-2 PL) trails Holy Cross (6-9, 1-1 PL) in the all-time series 45-33 but has found success in recent years over the Crusaders. The Mountain Hawks have won eight of the last ten meetings between the two schools, including three in a row and a sweep of last season's series.
If Lehigh wins, Reed would win his 292nd game, putting him only eight away from becoming the second coach in Patriot League history to reach 300 wins.
Lehigh men's basketball played its first road Patriot League game of the season on Saturday evening from Sojka Pavilion against the Bucknell Bison. The Mountain Hawks fell 72-65 to the Bison in a game that saw five lead changes. Hank Alvey built on his hot start to Patriot League play, tying his career-high of 26 points to go along with nine rebounds and two blocks. The sophomore posted 21 points against Army on December 31. Edouard Benoit and Nasir Whitlock each scored 11 points, Joshua Ingram added ten, and Caleb Thomas chipped in seven points off the bench. The Bison found a narrow advantage on the glass 35-33 but made a difference in the turnover category, scoring 20 points off 21 takeaways.

The Crusaders picked up a 65-58 win over Bucknell in the league opener before falling 65-58 to Navy this past Saturday. Head coach Dave Paulsen is in his third season at the helm of the program. Holy Cross is led by sophomore guard Tyler Boston at 13.4 points per game while Joe Nugent (10.9 ppg) and Gabe Warren (10.4 ppg) also average double-figures for the Crusaders.
Following Wednesday's game, Lehigh travels north to Hamilton, N.Y. to take on Colgate on Saturday, January 10 at 2 p.m.
Wednesday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and is available on Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
