
Mountain Hawks Complete Round Two At Patriot League Championship

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Lehigh men's golf team shot 291 Saturday in the second round of the Patriot League Championship at the Bucknell Golf Club. Juniors Aiden LeBlanc and Jake Roth led the way with rounds of one over par 71 as Lehigh improved two strokes from its round one total. The Mountain Hawks remain in eighth place as a team at 584 (293-291).

Roth continues to lead Lehigh overall, as he is tied for seventh place at 139 (68-71). He made three birdies in his second round 71.

LeBlanc is tied for 36th place at 148 (77-71). His second round included two birdies and 13 pars.

First-year Noah Zyung is tied for 32nd place at 147 (73-74). He made five birdies Saturday, including a stretch of four straight to finish the front nine at one under par.

Senior Jahan Bains is tied for 38th place at 150 with back-to-back rounds of 75. Bains had 13 pars and five bogeys in his second round.

Junior Will Caronchi sits in a tie for 43rd place at 153 (77-76). Caronchi birdied two of his first six holes and was even par through nine holes Saturday.

Senior Aidan Oehrle remains in 48th place at 160 (82-78).

Army West Point shot four under par 276 to take the team lead at 557. The Black Knights lead Holy Cross and Loyola by four strokes.

Loyola's Gustavo Rangel holds the individual lead at four under par 136 (69-67). Rangel holds a one stroke lead over two players, with Roth among the group three strokes behind.

The Patriot League Championship concludes Sunday with the final round from the Bucknell Golf Club. Lehigh will once again play alongside Lafayette beginning at 8 a.m.
