
Roth Earns Second Team All-League Honors As Lehigh Wraps Up PLC

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior Jake Roth earned second team All-Patriot League honors to lead the Lehigh men's golf team as the Patriot League Championship wrapped up Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club. Roth tied for 10th place at 213 (68-71-74) to earn his first career all-league medal.

Lehigh shot a weekend-best 289 Sunday and finished in eighth place at 873 (293-291-289).

Roth made two birdies in his final round. His opening round 68 was the low round of the tournament for Lehigh.

Juniors Aiden LeBlanc and Will Caronchi both shot one over par 71 to lead Lehigh in Sunday's final round. LeBlanc was Lehigh's No. 2 finisher, bouncing back from an opening round 77 with back-to-back 71s to tie for 24th place at 219. He made three birdies in his final round. Caronchi finished in a tie for 37th place at 224 (77-76-71). His final round included two birdies and 13 pars.

First-year Noah Zyung tied for 27th place at 220 (73-74-73). Zyung matched LeBlanc with three birdies in his final round.

Senior Jahan Bains was part of the tie for 37th with Caronchi at 224. Bains shot 75-75-74 with two birdies in his final round.

Loyola edged Holy Cross by one stroke to win its second consecutive team title. The Greyhounds finished at 849 (279-282-288).

Holy Cross' Nolan Schuermann edged Lafayette's Quint Dingledine on the first playoff hole to win the individual championship. Both players finished at two under par 208.
