
Hall Low Mountain Hawk on Day One of Patriot League Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team opened the Patriot League Championship with a round of 325 Friday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. First-year Alana Hall led the way with an 80 as the Mountain Hawks sit in third place out of five teams after day one.

Hall made a team-leading three birdies and sits in a tie for 11th place.

Junior Yuki Zhu and sophomore Stefania Fedun both shot nine over par 81 and are tied for 14th place. Zhu carded one birdie in her opening round.

Senior Madison Pineda is tied for 18th place after shooting 83 with one birdie on Friday.

First-year Reese Hannon made two birdies, including a three on the 18th hole to shoot 86. Hannon is tied for 23rd place.

Sophomore Bella Scanapicco opened her tournament with a 94 and sits in 30th place.

Navy shot four over par 292 as a team and holds the lead by 18 strokes over Boston University. All six Navy players are in the top seven individually, led by Vivian Cressman and Megan Kirkpatrick, who shot even par 72.

The Patriot League Championship continues Saturday with round two with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. Lehigh will once again play with Navy and Boston University with their tee times beginning at 10 a.m.
