BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh volleyball will meet Lafayette on Friday evening in the season's first installment of The Rivalry, presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. The Mountain Hawks will be celebrating Camper Reunion Night and the first 50 students in attendance will receive free pizza.

Last season, Lehigh (8-4, 1-1 PL) and Lafayette (6-5, 1-1 PL) split the season series against one another. The Leopards picked up the first win of the series via a 3-1 win in Easton while the Mountain Hawks swept their rivals in last season's final game at Grace Hall.

Lehigh kicked off the Patriot League season last Friday against Army West Point, earning a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over the Black Knights. The following night the Mountain Hawks hosted defending league champion Colgate, which resulted in a 3-1 win for the Raiders. Junior Natalie Luscomb leads the Mountain Hawks with 120 kills, senior Makena Smith is the team's assist leader with 225 while senior Kyleigh Brown's 156 digs pace Lehigh.

Lafayette began their league slate against Colgate, which the Leopards dropped 3-0. They then rebounded with a strong performance against Holy Cross, earning a sweep over the Crusaders themselves. Emma Patmon leads the Leopards with 87 kills, Mackenzie Calhoun's 128 assists lead Lafayette and Emily Goldrup's 98 digs are a team-high.

Following Friday's rivalry match, the Mountain Hawks will head west on Sunday to face Bucknell (10-1, 2-0 PL), who is currently riding a ten-match winning streak. The Bison opened Patriot League play at home with 3-0 and 3-1 wins over Holy Cross and Army West Point. The Bison are led by Bri Frazilus with 128 kills, Caleigh O'Connell with 334 assists and Jordan Hardy with 198 digs.

Friday's matchup with Lafayette is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. from Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall while Sunday's match against Bucknell starts at 3 p.m.
