BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh track and field program recorded four Mountain Hawks on the Academic All-Patriot League Teams, the league office announced Thursday afternoon. Christina Yakaboski, Laura Reigle and Ashley Struck represented the women's team while Patrez Thomas landed on the men's team.

Yakaboski is a familiar face in academic honors, garnering her sixth career Academic All-Patriot League honor spanning across cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field. The senior is a dual major in economics and design. In the outdoor Patriot League Championships, the Calverton, N.Y. native placed seventh in the 5,000m with a time of 17:04.57.

In last weekend's Patriot League Championships, Reigle claimed her second title in two years at Lehigh with a jump of 3.97m. The sophomore currently holds the school record in both the indoor (4.10m) and outdoor (4.04m) pole vault. A Design major, Reigle was named to the Indoor Academic All-Patriot League Team and landed on the Patriot League Honor Roll at the conclusion of her rookie season last year.

Struck set the meet record and claimed the title in the 400m at the Patriot League Championships, clocking in at 54.08. In the 200m, Struck earned second with a school record of 24.04. The senior was part of a 4x400m relay that placed third, setting a new school record of 3:46.78. The Jefferson, N.J. native holds school records in the outdoor and indoor 200 and 400, along with the outdoor 4x100m and 4x400m.

Thomas was the lone male honoree, earning Academic All-Patriot League honors in the indoor season and CSC Academic All-District nods following the 2023 outdoor season. At the Patriot League Championships, the Snellville, Ga. native logged a third place mark in the 400m hurdles with 52.82.

To be eligible for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
