BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's golf team heads to North Carolina for the Irish Creek Collegiate, hosted by Appalachian State Monday and Tuesday in Kannapolis, N.C. A shotgun start is set for 8:30 a.m. Monday to kick off 36 holes of play, followed by 18 on Tuesday.

Fifteen teams are set to compete on the par-70 track on The Club at Irish Creek: Old Dominion, Cal Baptist, Queens, Lehigh, Francis Marion, Radford, Jacksonville State, George Washington, Longwood, Morehead State, North Carolina A&T, WKU and William & Mary, plus host Appalachian State.

The Mountain Hawks opened the spring season with a seventh place finish out of 17 teams at the UC San Diego Invitational at Torrey Pines, March 24-26. Lehigh used a strong final round 280 to move up the team leaderboard. Sophomore Aiden LeBlanc led the way, tying for seventh place at one over par 217 (75-73-69).

LeBlanc will be one of six Mountain Hawks in action at the Club at Irish Creek. The tournament will have a play-six, score-four format, similar to the Patriot League Championship. LeBlanc will be joined by graduate students Sam Barton and David Hurly, senior Edmund Broderick and junior Jahan Bains and sophomore Will Caronchi.

Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.com.

Following the Irish Creek Collegiate, Lehigh will play in Lafayette's ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational, April 14-15 at Northampton Country Club in Easton, Pa.
