Mountain Hawks Bested 4-1 By Boston U. To Conclude Road Trip

BOSTON – Lehigh men's tennis concluded its three-day road trip on Sunday morning with a dual meet against the Boston University Terriers. The Mountain Hawks were bested 4-1 by the Terriers in their third and final match of the weekend.
Lehigh (10-10, 3-3 PL) was defeated by Boston U. (18-7, 6-0 PL) in the opening doubles round after earning wins at numbers one and three. Jonah Dickson and Adrian Pawlowski finished first with a 6-3 win at number three before Corey Craig and Alejandro Licea's victory at number one clinched the first point for the Terriers.
The Terriers found quick success in the lower singles matches, earning their first singles points from Dion Loutas at four and Gustavs Dambins at five to take a 3-0 lead. However, Wyeth Anzilotti pulled out a two-set victory at number six to get the Mountain Hawks on the board. Despite the win, Lehigh was unable to mount a comeback effort after Craig defeated Kleiman at number one to clinch the dual for Boston U.
The Mountain Hawks return to action at home on Tuesday, April 16 for the Rivalry against Lafayette College presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. Play is set to begin at 4 p.m. from the Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts.
