Ingram Earns Patriot League Rookie Of The Week Honor

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – First-year Joshua Ingram was named the Patriot League's Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon. The award comes off the heels of a 2-0 week for the Mountain Hawks, with Ingram playing a critical role in both wins.
The Metuchen, N.J. native averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while posting shooting splits of 47.4% (9-19) from the floor, 45.5% (5-11) from three and 100% (11-11) from the free throw line.
Ingram posted career-highs in points and rebounds in Lehigh's 71-63 overtime win against Bucknell with a game-leading 24 points and nine boards to go along with a perfect 9-9 from the free throw line. He followed up that performance with 10 points, two rebounds, an assist and a career-best three steals in Saturday's 75-70 win over Loyola Maryland.
On the season, Ingram is averaging 7.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game and leads the Mountain Hawks in field goal percentage at 46.9%. He has scored in double figures seven times this season and has started every game for Lehigh since January 10.
Ingram will next be in action on Wednesday, February 21 on the road against Army West Point. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. against the Black Knights.
