Mountain Hawks Compete At Bucknell Tune Up Ahead Of Patriot League Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Preparing for Patriot League Championships next weekend, the Lehigh women's track and field team took a quick trip to Lewisburg for the Bucknell Tune Up on Friday night.Â

SPRINTS/HURDLES:
First-year Kasey White took fourth (8.04) and senior Jordyn Hock landed in eighth (8.42) in the women's 60m. In the 60m hurdles, junior Shelby Dejana secured third with a season-best time of 9.07. Sophomore Abby Klebe won the 400m with an ECAC qualifying and sixth all-time mark of 57.61. In the 500m, senior Simone Davey earned her first collegiate win, taking first with 1:19.82.Â

DISTANCE/MID-DISTANCE:
Junior Lauryn Heskin won the 800m, crossing the finish in 2:18.07. In the mile, first-year Aurora Wilson picked up a PR of 5:20.48, earning sixth place.Â

Lehigh's 4x400m A squad consisting of Davey, junior Maddison Hayes, sophomore Amber Barrios and sophomore Sydney Kusner placed first with a time of 4:11.89.

JUMPS:
The Mountain Hawks claimed four of the top five spots in the long jump with junior Lillian Mauger winning the event with a 5.52m jump. Junior Lauren Roy (5.37m) and senior Nina Cialone (5.10m) picked up PRs and finished in third and fifth, respectively. Cialone went on to win the triple jump with 11.29m.

First-year Gaea DePass picked up her first collegiate win in the high jump with a PR of 1.62m. Sophomore Laura Reigle won and had an ECAC qualifying mark of 3.75m in the pole vault.

THROWS:
Sophomore Jen Whipple earned a season best in the shot put with 11.39m.Â

Lehigh heads to Boston University next weekend for the Patriot League Championships.
