Lehigh Laces Up at The Bucknell Tune Up

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Lehigh men's track and field team prepared for next weekend's Patriot League Championships by competing at the Bucknell Tune Up on Friday night. 
 
SPRINTS/HURDLES:
In the 60m prelims, first-year David Sedrak secured a PR of 7.22, claiming ninth place. Senior Dan Stipanov won the 60m hurdles with a PR and third all-time mark of 8.19. First-year Nathan Oliphant took second with a PR of 8.42, while first-year Andrew Clark placed sixth with a PR of 9.08. 
 
DISTANCE/MID-DISTANCE:
Two Mountain Hawks PRed in the 800m with sophomore Thomas Arnold taking third with 1:58.11 and sophomore Max Leffler following behind in fourth with 2:00.13. Fellow sophomore Connor Malinger earned a PR in the mile, finishing in 4:37.16.
 
Lehigh's relay group of Arnold, Leffler, sophomore Henry Burd and first-year Aidan LaTourette won the 4x400, clocking in at 3:34.43.
 
JUMPS:
Junior Skyler Mott matched his jump from last weekend at the Big Apple Invitational, winning the high jump with 2.03m. In the long jump, junior Mulenga Malama and graduate student Ian Scott finished in second and third, respectively, both with marks of 6.58m. Clark picked up a PR in the pole vault with a 3.75m jump, good for eighth place.
 
THROWS:
In the weight throw, junior Liam Lovering took first with a throw of 17.11m. Junior Sharan Shankar earned a PR with a mark of 14.07m.
 
Lehigh heads to Boston University next weekend for the Patriot League Championships.
