Mountain Hawks Conclude Non-League Slate Sunday Afternoon Versus Neumann

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's basketball returns to Stabler Arena for one last game prior to the start of Patriot League play on Sunday. The Mountain Hawks will host the Neumann Knights at 3:30 p.m.
Sunday's contest will be the first-ever meeting between Lehigh (4-6) and Neumann (8-4).
If Lehigh wins, they would earn their fifth win of the season and improve to 4-0 at Stabler Arena on the season. In addition, head coach Dr. Brett Reed's record against non-Division-I competition would improve to 15-0.
The Mountain Hawks defeated the LIU Sharks in Brooklyn, N.Y. in their last game on December 21 by a score of 60-59. Lehigh battled back from a 13-point second half deficit to pull out their third victory in their last four games. Senior Keith Higgins Jr. led the way offensively with 16 points while seniors Tyler Whitney-Sidney and Ben Knostman added 11 and 10 points respectively.
Neumann enters Sunday's contest having not competed since December 7 when they defeated Haverford College 85-79. The Knights are 8-4 on the season and have won four of their five contests. The team is led offensively by junior DJ Earl who currently averages 15.5 points per game. Four other knights average over ten points per game, those being senior TJ Lewis (12.3), junior Bryan Etienne (11.2), senior Francis Gary (11.0) and junior Nigel Burch (10.5).
Following Saturday's game, the Mountain Hawks will return to Stabler Arena to open the Patriot League season against Bucknell on Thursday, January 2. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Bethlehem.
Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
