Gatelein, Mes Land On First Team; Sauve Named To Second Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Fifth-year Julia Gatelein and junior Kiki Mes were named to the All-Patriot League first team while junior KK Sauve landed on the second team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Gatelein led the Mountain Hawks with 10 goals and three assists, compiling a whopping 23 points. Ahead of this season, Gatelein was named to the Preseason All-Patriot League Team. The Haddon Heights, N.J. native is a familiar face in league awards, garnering All-Patriot League first team honors last season and was named to the 2023 Preseason All-Patriot League Team. The midfielder also earned first team all-league honors last season and second team laurels as a first-year
Mes earned first team honors after landing on the second team at the conclusion of last season. The midfielder tallied three goals and one assist, good for seven total points.
Sauve earned the first Patriot League honor of her career, earning second team honors after playing an integral role on Lehigh's backline. The Mechanicsburg, Pa. native started and played in all 17 games in her second season with Lehigh.
Lehigh finished the season 7-10 overall and 2-4 in league play.
