BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh track and field team opened its 2024 competition with the Wagner Invitational on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Park Track and Field Athletic Complex.
Â
Following winter break, this is the first competition athletes competed in since Fast Times Before Finals on Dec. 8-9. The unscored meet featured some athletes competing across multiple events while some specialists picked up where they left off in 2023.
Â
"It was a solid post-break meet," said head coach Khayla Atte. "We were a small but mighty group. The opportunity to compete at this level is far less than high school. Learning to compete in all circumstances is important to building a winning culture. We're ready to start winter training camp and our indoor season."
