Mountain Hawks Look to Continue Momentum at St. John’s

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's soccer team (2-1-3) looks to bring the momentum from last Sunday's 1-0 win over Penn into Saturday's road matchup with St. John's.
Freshman Aminah Baruwa scored the game-winner for Lehigh, tallying her second goal of the season. One of this week's Patriot League Honorable Mentions, Baruwa scored the clutch game-tying goal in the draw with Cornell on Aug. 27. She earned rookie of the week laurels for her performance against the Big Red.
St. John's is 4-0-1 this season, including a 1-0 win over Penn on Aug. 31. The Red Storm finished 7-5-7 last season, losing to Xavier 3-1 in the semifinal round of the BIG EAST championship. Graduate student Jessica Garziano leads the team with two goals and four assists. Garziano and junior Jordyn Levy led St. John's with two goals in 2022.
Lehigh leads the series with St. John's 2-1, most recently defeating the Red Storm 1-0 on Sept. 11, 2022.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
