Lehigh To Play In Lady Bison Invitational, Final Tune-Up Before PLC

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team is ready for its last tournament before the Patriot League Championship. The Mountain Hawks will play in Howard's Lady Bison Invitational, Monday and Tuesday at Baltimore Country Club in Timonium, Md.
 
The Lady Bison open will be a 54-hole event, with 36 holes beginning at 9 a.m. Monday and the final 18 set for Tuesday.
 
In addition to Lehigh and host Howard, participating teams include Bryant, Delaware State, FDU, Georgetown, LIU, Merrimack and Mount St. Mary's.
 
Last time out, Lehigh finished 16th at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, March 27-28 in Williamsburg, Va. First-year led the way for the Mountain Hawks, tying for 28th place with a score of 235 (79-77-79).
 
Wong will occupy the No. 1 spot in Lehigh's lineup and will be joined by classmate Yuki Zhu, sophomore Madison Pineda and seniors Iris Shin and Hannah Foster. Junior Meghna Grover will compete as an individual.
 
Following the Lady Bison Invitational, Lehigh will shift focus to the Patriot League Championship, April 21-23 at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Va. Richmond is the host institution.
