Mountain Hawks Headed to Arizona For SMSU Spring Classic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team is headed to Arizona for spring break. The Mountain Hawks will compete in their second spring tournament, the SMSU Spring Classic, hosted by Southwest Minnesota State Monday-Tuesday in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
Eight teams will compete in the two-day, 36-hole event at the Wigwam Resort Blue Course, with Lehigh being joined by Bucknell, Colorado-Colorado Springs, Metro State-Denver, Minnesota State-Moorhead, Montana State-Billings, Rockhurst and host Southwest Minnesota State.
Lehigh's eight tee times begin at 8:03 a.m. MST on Monday. The Mountain Hawks will be playing with Colorado-Colorado Springs and Rockhurst on day one.

The Mountain Hawks opened their spring season at Lipscomb's Lady Bison Invitational, Feb. 5-7 in Panama City, Fla. Lehigh tied for 10th place out of 15 teams with first-years Yuki Zhu and Evelyn Wong leading the way by tying for 21st place overall. Seniors Iris Shin and Hannah Foster and sophomore Madison Pineda also competed in Lehigh's spring-opening event.
Following the SMSU Spring Classic, Lehigh will play at William & Mary's Kingsmill Intercollegiate, March 27-28 in Williamsburg, Va.
