BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men's tennis team struggled to find its rhythm on Saturday morning, falling 7-0 to Drexel inside the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center.Â
The Mountain Hawks competed during doubles play but were unable to clinch the point and take the early lead. At the No. 2 spot, sophomores Marc Blekhman and Sean Jaeger defeated Drexel's Daniel Dudockin and Matvey Radionov 7-6 [7-5].Â
Lehigh battled with the Dragons during singles but was unable to top Drexel. At the No. 3 spot, Blekhman battled with Dudockin once again. The sophomore lost the first set 6-1 but went on to win the second set 7-6 [7-5]. Blekhman fell to Dudockin 6-2 in the third set.Â
First-year Jackson Morash battled with Radionov at the No. 5 spot. Morash fell to Radionov in the first set 6-2 but defeated him 7-6 [7-5] in the second set. Radionov went on to defeat Morash 6-3 in the third set to clinch the match for the Dragons.Â
Lehigh will close out the weekend with a Sunday morning match against Howard. Competition is set to begin at 10 a.m.Â
