BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh senior Daniel Song shot a five under par 67 to claim individual medalist honors as the Mountain Hawks wrapped up play at the Lehigh Invitational Saturday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. Song carded six birdies in his final round to erase what was a four stroke deficit.

Lehigh's A team shot 289 to finish in second place at 584 (295-289), while the B team finished fourth at 598 (292-306).

Song's win came nearly three weeks after an eagle by an opponent on the 18th hole cost him a win at Binghamton's Matthews Auto Intercollegiate. He is the first Lehigh player to post a tournament win since Owen Quinn won the Lehigh Invitational in 2018.

Senior Sam Barton led the B team tying for sixth place at 146 (70-76). Barton made one birdie Saturday after an impressive round of 70 on Friday.

Sophomore Jahan Bains shot even par 72 with two birdies to finish in a tie for 11th place at 147 (75-72).

Senior David Hurly and junior Edmund Broderick tied for 13th place at 148. Hurly made three birdies in a 72 Saturday after shooting 76 on Friday. Broderick shot his second consecutive 74 and made two birdies in his final round.

For Lehigh's A team, first-year Jake Roth tied for 30th place at 152 (73-79) and sophomore Aidan Oehrle tied for 34th place at 153 (77-76). Roth made one birdie in his final round, while Oehrle made two.

First-year Aiden LeBlanc posted a top 20 finish, tying for 19th place at 149 (72-77). LeBlanc birdied his first hole of the day.

Senior Joey Dotta and first-year Will Caronchi tied for 51st place at 158. Dotta shot 81 on Saturday, while Caronchi shot 83.

St. John's captured the team title at 571 (285-286), 13 strokes ahead of Lehigh.

The Mountain Hawks will close out their fall season at the Alabama A&M Golf Classic, Oct. 31-Nov. 1 in Huntsville, Ala.
