Mountain Hawks to Face Syracuse on Dec. 18

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's basketball team will head to the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Dec. 18 to face Syracuse out of the ACC, as announced by the Orange on Monday. The Mountain Hawks last played Syracuse to open the 2015-16, falling 57-47 final.

In the last meeting, Lehigh began the second half on an 18-4 run to pull within six, but couldn't get over the hump in a competitive contest against the Orange, a team that would go onto the Final Four that season. Lehigh is 0-4 against Syracuse all-time.

The last ACC team the Mountain Hawks faced was Virginia Tech on Nov. 16, 2019, which saw the score tied with five minutes left in the first half, but the Hokies pulled away in the second.

Syracuse finished this past season with an 18-10 record, beating San Diego State and West Virginia in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Houston in the Sweet 16.
