Lehigh men finish up meets at Kutztown, Moravian; Bison Outdoor Classic underway

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The men's track and field team has finished competition in two of this weekend's three meets and has one more day of competition on Sunday at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell.
At the Mondshein Multi, hosted by Kutztown University, freshman Matthew Fisher finished Thursday's portion of the decathlon in 11th place with a score of 2666.
At the Coach Pollard Invitational at Moravian College, sophomore Anastasios Mouzakis finished third overall in the hammer throw on Friday, earning a mark of 50.78m. Junior Adam Freesman finished sixth overall with a mark of 48.95m in the same event.
Senior Alexander Rodgers finished eighth overall in the shot put with a mark of 13.65m.
In the track events, Clay Stabolepszy finished eighth overall in the 800m with a time of 1:57.28.
On the first day of the Bison Outdoor Classic, junior Kip Yegon finished third overall in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:04.08. Sophomore Nick Norton finished 19th overall with a time of 9:28.70, earning a personal record.
Junior Erik Metz finished 12th overall in the triple jump with a mark of 13.34m.
The weekend's competition concludes tomorrow with the final day of the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell.
