The Mountain Hawks began their trip with practice rounds in Las Vegas and are now readying for the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational, hosted by Southern Utah, Thursday and Friday at Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah. A previously scheduled match with Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday has been canceled.

Lehigh opened its spring season at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic, Feb. 24-26 in South Carolina. Senior Reagan Jahn led the way for the Mountain Hawks, tying for 28th place in a field of more than 250 golfers. Jahn will be joined by classmate Aileen Jeong, juniors Minuette Laessig and Rebecca Markunas, sophomore Angela Ding and freshman Alexis Carras. Carras could make her spring debut after sitting out the Kiawah Island Spring Classic.

The Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational will feature 18 holes on both Thursday and Friday with a 9 a.m. MT shotgun start each day. The tournament will be played on the par 72 5,914 yard course at Sunbrook Golf Club.

Lehigh will be part of a 14-team field that includes Cal Baptist, Cal State Bakersfield, Eastern Washington, Fairleigh Dickinson, Idaho State, Montana, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Oral Roberts, South Dakota State, Weber State, Xavier and the hosts Southern Utah.

Following their spring break trip, the Mountain Hawks will play a dual match against La Salle on March 31 and then take part in Georgetown's Hoya Invitational April 8-9.
