
15 Mountain Hawks set for ECAC Championship in Annapolis this weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Patriot League Championship may be over for both the Lehigh men's and women's swimming and diving teams, but the season isn't quite finished yet, as a select group of swimmers will head to the ECAC Championships in Annapolis, Md. this weekend.
With the intention of giving athletes a chance to improve times and attempt to qualify higher, the ECACs allow swimmers who didn't get a shot to shine this past weekend that shot.
First, on the women's side, some names competing this weekend at Navy include sophomore Anna Francisco, sophomore Evie Gieseman, juniors Autumn Shaffer and Sydney Dougherty, as well as freshmen Amy Qin and Grace Rogowski.
On the men's side, fifth-year Patrick Champagne will have a chance to compete, as well as senior Connor Guilfoyle, junior Rhys Hanley, sophomore Joe Huber, as well as freshman Asa Greenaway.
In total, 15 athletes will be represented from Lehigh including a total of 43 individual events.
Fresh off a Patriot League title, the Midshipmen are attempting to sweep the men's and women's ECAC team titles for the third year in a row.
Competition begins on Friday with the preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. with finals set for 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, prelims begin at 9 a.m. with finals set to begin at 4 p.m.
