Pair of Lehigh games slated for CBS Sports Network

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's basketball team will appear on national television on consecutive Mondays this February as the Mountain Hawks host Colgate on Feb. 4 and travel to Bucknell on Feb. 11. Both games are slated for CBS Sports Network as part of the Patriot League's television package, as announced on Tuesday. Out of the league's five announced games, Lehigh is tied for the most appearances on CBS SN, along with Bucknell and Boston University.

The television contests come against last season's Patriot League finalist and champion, both teams Lehigh has enjoyed success against. The Mountain Hawks split each season series in 2017-18. Bucknell and Colgate combined for eight regular-season defeats last year, two of which came against the Mountain Hawks.

Lehigh bounced back from a 76-72 home loss to Colgate by defeating the Raiders on the road, 88-78, in an impressive all-around effort. Marques Wilson led the charge with a career-high 28 points on 9-of-10 shooting while Kahron Ross and Kyle Leufroy each added 18.

Following a 78-65 loss at Bucknell last January, Lehigh responded by defeating the Bison at home, 92-89 in overtime. In a nationally-televised game on CBS Sports Network, Pat Andree scored 24 points while Jordan Cohen posted a career-high 21 and James Karnik tallied his third-career double-double.

The Mountain Hawks finished the 2017-18 season with a 16-14 overall record, including 11-7 in Patriot League play. Lehigh ended the regular season on an eight-game winning streak, going 7-0 in February to improve to 22-2 over the last three Februaries. In the end, the Mountain Hawks earned a Patriot League Quarterfinal home game for the eighth time in the last nine years. Lehigh featured seven players with 20-point games last season, six of which are returning in 2018-19.
