BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team will open its spring campaign over spring break when the Mountain Hawks compete in the Benbow Invitational, hosted by Butler, Monday and Tuesday at Blue Sky Golf Club in Jacksonville. The tournament will be the first of five spring events for the Mountain Hawks, culminating in the Patriot League Championship, April 21-22 in Annapolis, Md.

The Benbow Invitational will be a 36-hole event with teams playing 18 holes per day. Action both Monday and Tuesday begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

Lehigh enjoyed a strong fall season, in which the Mountain Hawks finished in the top four of all four tournaments. In its fall finale, Lehigh won the seven team Lehigh Invitational, edging Fairleigh Dickinson by one stroke.

Juniors Reagan Jahn and Aileen Jeong each led Lehigh individually in two fall events, with Jahn winning the Tiganelli Towson Invitational in a playoff and taking second at the Lehigh Invitational, while Jeong led the Mountain Hawks at the Navy Fall Invitational and Brown Bear Fall Invitational.

Megan Moylan is the lone senior on first-year coach Mary Kate Lynch's team and will look to finish strong in her final season. The rest of the roster included sophomores Minuette Laessig and Rebecca Markunas and freshmen Alexis Browne and Angela Ding.

Following the Benbow Invitational, Lehigh will play in the William & Mary Intercollegiate, March 19-20 in Williamsburg, Virginia and will close out March and begin April at the FDU Checkmate Challenge March 31-April 1 in Galloway, N.J.

The Mountain Hawks' fourth spring tournament will be at Navy April 7-8 and will serve as a final tune-up for when Lehigh returns to Annapolis two weeks later, looking to win its first Patriot League title since 2013.
