Mountain Hawks To Compete In The Princeton Invitational After Off Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's cross country team will compete in Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J. after having the previous week off. Prior to the off week, the Mountain Hawks had run for three weeks straight, competing in the Lafayette Dual Meet, the Coast-To-Coast Battle In Beantown and the Paul Short Run.
With no new regional rankings this week, Lehigh continues to sit 12th in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Navy continues to lead all Patriot League teams in the region with a 6th place ranking. Georgetown sits as the number one team in the region.
In its last meet, Lehigh finished 17th out of 45 schools at the Paul Short Run on Sept 29. Sophomore Brad DeMassa was the top finisher for the Mountain Hawks with a 68th place with a time of 25:26. Sophomore Seth Slavin was next to finish with an 80th place finish and a time of 25:31.
Last season, the Mountain Hawks finished 19th at the Princeton Invitational with Slavin leading the way for Lehigh with a 92nd place finish and a time of 25:31. Joseph Inglis was next to finish for the Brown and White with a time of 25:49 and a 126th place finish.
