BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team returns to Florida for its second spring event as the Mountain Hawks will take part in the two-day Seminole State Spring Break tournament hosted by Seminole State, beginning Tuesday at Timacuan Country Club in Lake Mary, Fla.
The Mountain Hawks opened the spring at the FAU Winter Warmup in Boca Raton on Feb. 20 where Lehigh competed against Florida Atlantic and Brown.
Sophomores led Lehigh in Boca Raton, with Aileen Jeong leading the team with a 74 while Reagan Jahn carded the second lowest score, a 78. Junior Megan Moylan and freshman Minuette Laessig both shot 79, while senior Elizabeth McGarrigle led Lehigh in the fall and will look to bounce back after a tough round in Florida. Freshman Rebecca Markunas competed as an individual in last month's tournament.
Last year, Seminole State won its own tournament, which featured a nine-team field and also had the top two individual finishers.
Following the Seminole State Spring Break Tournament, Lehigh will return to action at the William & Mary Intercollegiate, March 27-28 in Williamsburg, Va.
